Technical viability project for electric vehicles

Seville municipal website: sevilla.org

Evectra, a company which is part of im3, produces a technical viability plan and an economic and analysis of an infrastructure network for recharging electric vehicles in Seville.

Tasks performed by Evectra:

  • Defining technical solutions to expand the existing payment infrastructure network, in view of the city’s criterion of re-using existing locations with payment infrastructure that does not currently work:
    • Technical viability analysis: defining mobility conditions in Seville, defining existing charging infrastructure, and maintenance, management and use of contractual documents.
    • Economic viability analysis: defining the economic investment required to expand recharging infrastructure, studying existing financing programmes.
    • Analysis of the legal and administrative viability of implementing the network: according to the law, what would be the best way of organising the operation of the network.
  • Defining an alternative network of recharging infrastructure in Seville, assuming that there are no previously existing recharging points for electric vehicles and according to Evectra’s proven, effective methodological criteria:
    • Technical viability analysis: defining strategic measures to roll out the charging infrastructure network, defining the range of the charging infrastructure network. Drawing up contractual documents for use, maintenance and management.
    • Economic viability analysis: defining the economic investment required to expand recharging infrastructure, studying existing financing programmes.
    • Analysis of the legal and administrative viability of implementing the network: according to the law, what would be the best way of organising the operation of the network.
