Luís Roberto Malheiros Júnior and Daniel Sánchez Ruber take office as Country Managers of im3 for Brazil and Peru respectively, in April and May of this year.
At the same time, Luís Malheiros is appointed as the maximum responsible of im3 for Brazil. The registered office in im3 Brazil is changed to Rio de Janeiro, maintaining two productive bases in Goiânia-GO and Sobral-CE, and a new office in São Paulo. . With the presence of im3 in these four states, the im3 position as a national engineering corporation in the largest economy in Latin America is strengthened.
On the one hand, Daniel Sánchez Ruber joined im3 at Lima in February this year as commercial manager, after a long career in management positions in service companies in Peru. On the other hand, Luís Malheiros, has more than 7 years of experience as a corporate lawyer and country manager in Brazil in different organisations.
One of their first challenges as country managers is the mobilisation and management of the recent tender awards won in Brazil and Peru. In fact, the framework contract which included 36 months of “Project Development Services/Budgets for Air and underground Distribution Networks of High and Low Voltage” for Batch no. 3 (North of Ceará) awarded by Enel Brasil to the NIP-im3 consortium, starts in May 2019.
Whereas in Lima, the 36-month framework contract awarded by Enel Perú of “Health, Safety and Environment Field Inspections Service to activities executed by contractors and supplier assessments” starts on 1st June. The purpose of this contract is to actively help Enel with the prevention of occupational and environmental risks of its contractor companies.
The incorporation of both country managers with a clearly commercial calling and with great knowledge of their local markets are a reflection of the im3 group’s strategy for the region and its commitment to growth based on the search for new business opportunities.
