sign a Memorandum of Understanding for the development of power systems and electrical interconnection projects

im3 Group and Tractebel have formalised a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the aim of establishing a strategic collaboration framework for power systems and electrical interconnector projects in Spain and international markets, including Ireland, the United Kingdom and Latin America.

The agreement brings together Tractebel’s expertise in offshore infrastructure and HVDC technology with im3 Group’s recognised know-how in onshore transmission engineering and its in-depth understanding of the Spanish market.

This alliance strengthens the joint positioning of both companies before grid operators, project developers and institutional stakeholders, contributing to energy security of supply and the integration of renewable energy sources across Europe and globally.
