Dear Client,

Since we started up our professional activities more than 40 years ago, we have experienced many changes, which have enabled us to evolve. Nevertheless, our professional goal has always remained the same: to provide our clients with a quality service.

Market demands mean we set great store by our professional staff’s motivation to stay ahead. This is why we also opt to depend on our RDi department in providing our services.

Achieving a stable balance at national and international level has enabled us to offer a constant guarantee of our services. Moreover, the change of generation has reinforced one of our greatest strengths: keeping up our knowledge base, which has helped to build business value of recognised prestige.

Today we have subsidiaries with permanent headquarters in Santiago de Chile and Peru which have cemented their position over the last six years. These subsidiaries have absorbed the initial knowledge in the field of power transmission and transformation, both on the conventional side and in renewable energy systems. On the same continent, our growth in countries like Argentina and Brazil is also being cemented, with the aim of consolidating stable teams of professionals so that between all of us we can expand our capacities to provide services.

We are convinced that the challenge we set ourselves originally has a sustainable future, suited to a constantly-changing market, including the activities of urban engineering and electric mobility without forgetting our initial premise of providing the quality services our society needs.

Im3 timeline

July 2018

1973

Our professional activities began through the companies Inoras (implementation of industrial methods), Guisan (industrial assembly) and Saetrame-Ingas (industrial engineering and assembly).

1980

The im3 engineering services brand was born.

1994

Im3 became a trading company.

2000

Im3 won its first AT/MT framework engineering contract for Endesa.

June 2018

2005

Im3 began its professional relationship with REE with the engineering contract for high-voltage lines.

2011

Im3 rolled out its business in Latin America through its subsidiary in Chile.

2014

Im3 expanded its business in Latin America by setting up im3 Peru. In Spain, it finally opted to expand its portfolio of services by setting up its Urban Division, winning projects for Barcelona city council.

2018

Consolidation on the Latin American market with the opening of offices in Argentina and Brazil.
